# 50 Crabby in the house!

There's a crabby in the house! He always crab crab crab (cry cry cry) LOL even though he's already 6!  I wonder when will he stop....

Each kids will have their own character and attitude, so does their strength and weaknesses.  Crabby is very crabby but he is a very loving mouse!  My little mouse will always say these three things to me before he goes to sleep "mummy, remember to gargle "blue water" (oral rinse), exercise and pray to God".  As usual, before I go to sleep, I will brush my teeth, gargle with "blue water", do some exercise on the bed and pray to God.  However, sometimes I might forget to do those.. and he is my reminder every night, without fail.  Even at times I have to work late and told him to sleep first, he will then walked in to his room... Not long, he will walk out to the living room, and tell me these three important things.. isn't he cute and lovely!  

When he needed something, he will persuade for the things he wanted.  If your answer is NO, he will come back again few minutes later and beg you 'Please please mummy" with his hands in praying mode!  LOL  .. He is a boy full of determination, passion, persistency!   I only wish that he has a bit more patience :)

# 49 Happy bunny!

Happy Bunny is an impromptu idea came out from my sleep, again.  My mind always get active at night... so does this creative thinking too.  I don't have much time to really make a bento for my darling that day, as she's in a hurry to go out.  However, I still want to proceed with my bento and cheer up someone.  So I present this to Kelly, my housemate, who have been staying with us for almost a year soon.  She put this in her tupperware and it transform into a doggie :) cute right?

Some people may not realize that....Happiness comes from giving.  I find that very true.  Below story is not written by me and I've no idea who is the author, but it's something good to ponder.

This story is about a beautiful, expensively dressed lady who complained to her psychiatrist that she felt that her whole life was empty, it had no meaning.

So, the lady went to visit a counselor to seek out happiness. The counselor called over the old lady who cleaned the office floors.  The counselor then said to the rich lady "I'm going to ask Mary here to tell you how she found happiness. All I want you to do is listen to her."

So the old lady put down her broom and sat on a chair and told her story:
"Well, my husband died of malaria and three months later my only son was killed by a car. I had nobody... I had nothing left. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I never smiled at anyone, I even thought of taking my own life.

Then one evening a little kitten followed me home from work. Somehow I felt sorry for that kitten. It was cold outside, so I decided to let the kitten in. I got it some milk, and the kitten licked the plate clean.

Then it purred and rubbed against my leg and for the first time in months, I smiled. Then I stopped to think, if helping a little kitten could make me smile, maybe doing something for people could make me happy. So the next day I baked some biscuits and took them to a neighbor who was sick in bed.

Every day I tried to do something nice for someone. It made me so happy to see them happy. Today, I don't know of anybody who sleeps and eats better than I do. I've found happiness, by giving it to others."

When she heard that the rich lady cried. She had everything that money could buy, but she had lost the things which money cannot buy.

# 43 Papercutting .. not on paper but seaweed

That day's breakfast was just egg mayo.  I'm trying to experiment with seaweed ala paper cutting! Doesn't look too good huh? and a sweet heart in the middle for my darling.  Seaweed is darling's favourite snack!  Hmm but this isn't interesting enough :(

# 37 Little elephant

Elephant elephant where have you been?  I'm just right here in the tupperware!  :) 

Little elephant was done on a weekend longgggggg time ago.  LOL 

I was prioritizing on my time then to do all the housework, my job, bento and taking care of my little darling alone then.

# 36 Come let me give you a hug! said Olaf

This morning breakfast was a simple yet fast-to-cook breakfast! It's honey baked ham with cheese and cucumber!  Decorations, as you can see, baby carrots, black olives, little red nose of tomato, the smiley ham!

This was an impromptu design! Just thought that I have lots of carrots, black olive and tomatoes for my salad and voilà !  Isn't this happy!!!  

My darling was happy to see Olaf!  It really looks like giving her a hug in the early morning.  :D  When darling is happy, mommy is happy too! 

It's even happier when darling came back with a little 'Thumbs up' note that her teacher gave her!  It says "SQ, You always take the initiative to do things without being told.  Good Job!'

I'm so proud of her :) 

# 32 Breakfast at home

These are the breakfast done at home when I have the 'feeling' to do something cute and happy.... recently am not..... been quite emo after knowing someone.  Someone that affected my mood a lot.

The Garden of Windmills is my little darling's favourite.  It was not for her, but when she saw this photo, she put this as my Iphone wall paper.   She said I must do this for her next time as this was done for my Kwai G.

# 16 Mashed egg with cucumber sushi bread

Mashed egg with cucumber sushi bread is my lil' girl's favourite or I should say anything with egg, she'll just love them.  Fruits are strawberries and dragonballs ..I mean dragonfruits but she doesn't like the taste of dragon fruits.

She has a bit of cough and also sound having flu.  So I was giving her pure cod liver oil - Seven Seas and honey. Hopefully it works well.  Now watching TLC while updating this.. :)  Seldom have such privilege to watch the channel I want.  Since everybody is out, except me and my kids, so this is the chance!!!

# 15 Bunny & Monster Orange with Mashed Potatoes

Today's breakfast for two lil' angels are mashed potatoes with lil' bunny & lil' monster orange.  The small cheese sandwiches were the creation from my little girl who is excited to use the new tools that I bought.

Mom is still away in Korea.  So I've got to take leave to take care of two lil' angels.  As usual, the lil' boy likes to watch Barney and now BARBIE tooooo!!! LOL since the sister always watch Barbie. 

# 14 Beary sandwich

Little beary sandwich with ham and cheese. 2 little prunes and oranges for my little girl. She was asking me, where is the ear??  LOL  I think I need to be well prepared before hand. 

She's having tuition nowadays.. can you imagine kinder also need tuitions? woww isn't that a bit too much and it's recommended by the teachers.  Sometimes it makes me think bout whether the kids nowadays really enjoy their childhood? or they are now competing with each other and who are those who make them compete? Maybe Malaysian are getting the symptom like Singaporean?  Or maybe nowadays you only have a kid or two and so you wish that they will be smarter and etc etc etc.....

Both of my little ones are doing fine this week except me.  I am still having a swollen ankle and I just went to see the Chinese Urut.  Well I hope it does cure this pain that I have for almost, going to be 2 weeks.  Just pray that my right leg will be fine soon and there's no need for MRI nor operation...which sounds scary!!

Mom is away till next Wednesday in Korea and I hope everything is fine there.  I just heard that the school have closed due to the fear of radioactive rain.  Sad to hear bout that and also bout Japan pouring the radiation water to the sea. :(

# 6 Peanut butter bread + fruits + salad

It's been a busy week for me and so I did not come out with anything except this simple bento which is quick to do.  It's peanut butter bread, where I just roll it so that it's easy to eat this way. Fruits are grapes (skin peeled off) and strawberries. As for the salad, it's mine :) I've got coral lettuce, cucumber, grapes and strawberries.  My favourite salad sauce is .... Deep Roasted Sesame dressing at Shojikiya. It's sooooo yummy!!!   Also this ハローパンダ - Hello Panda is my girl's favourite!! that you can get from Shojikiya too.

Well well, the most happiest things that happened recently is my little son has stopped having his pacifier!! It's just too easy that I can't believe it myself too. It happened like this...Last Saturday, March 5, he told us the pacifier was taken away by the cats and so there's no more.. well, we agreed with him and said all right, then we will go home without the pacifier. He's totally fine at night until the next day he did asked for it. However, we reminded him what he's told us that it's gone hahahha. Until today he's without pacifier!! Hurray!!

# 5 Sunday Breakfast

Simple Sunday breakfast before we go to Church and Sunday school.  Am using my new love shape cutter that has different size and also my cute little animals pick. When my girl saw this, she was like 'wwowwww..so nice!! and pretty!! '  She just love the animal picks!  I've used ham and cheese with vege for the sandwich and sausage cut into cross to have some design.  Raisin is their favourite and so I've used it for the eyes and mouth

Then we have fruits: Strawberries & Grapes and again, my girl said this is just so lovely!!!  Am happy that they finished this :)

# 1 Breakfast bento

What is Bento?

This is my very first bento, a simple breakfast for my 2 darling for Chinese New Year.  Front: Love shape wholemeal bread with peanut butter, cornflakes and love shape apples.  Back: Star shape wholemeal bread with cheese, cornflakes, oranges.  My 6 years old daughter love peanut butter and cheese whereas my little son love fruits the most :)  I enjoy looking at him eating fruits ...strawberries his favourite! grapes, bananas, papayas, oranges, watermelon, apples....
